2008 Grey Cup – Old and New

Calgary welcomed the Stampeders back home after winning the Grey Cup, and I got the chance to shoot the welcome home party at the Olympic Plaza.

The shots that really stood out were the fans getting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to touch the cup, and of those shots, there were a couple that really stood out; this one in particular because to me it shows the difference between generations:

The older generation hand is touching the cup, and the younger generation hand is using an iphone to snap a close up pic of it. To me it speaks to how the different generations value experiences, and how they choose to experience things.
